Hello There

You can't see it in the picture (the angle was wrong), but there's a cat sitting on the chair on our front porch.

Hello there 
Can I say hello
Or did I already  
Give you my greeting
Because you are ignoring me (rude!) 

I think I knocked some papers 
Off the desk with my tail 
No matter--my human's picking them up  

Why is she ignoring me 
     (why is my human talking at me 
          doesn't she know I don't speak silly
               now give me some food now) 
I think as I sniff at some paint 
That fell off the window 
     (don't ask me how
          because I don't know) 
As I pound and pound waiting for 
Her to look at me

Hello look at me please
My human taps on the windowsill
I don't know why humans do the 
Silly things they do
She looks up at me and stares 
And looks away

So I scratch the window 
And she continues to ignore me
Why is she so rude
I just want to say hello
Why won't she let me say hello

Goodbye, I give one final scratch and jump off the desk
And stare at a glowing blue light
